Livi Boyd

Livi Boyd

Livi trained at Central School of Ballet.

Before NEBT, Livi was part of Ballet Central and then danced with Opera Comica in Bucharest. Since her 2022 season with NEBT she has danced with Ukrainian Classical Ballet on their European tour as well as dancing with Kyiv City Ballet.

Her repertoire includes: Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Alice in Wonderland, Coppelia, Les Sylphides, La Bayadere and Diana and Actaeon.

Ana Freire

Ana is a Brazilian ballet dancer from Rio de Janeiro who trained at Miami City Ballet School.
 
As a professional, she has danced for Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, one of the most prestigious ballet companies in South America.
 
In the UK, she has toured with Ballet Theatre UK for multiple seasons. She has also performed at the West End, where she has been a recurring female lead in the production of The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre.
 
Her performance repertoire includes, among others: Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Paquita, Giselle, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid, as well as a few contemporary pieces, such as Othello, performing the part of Desdemona.
 
Ana is currently a freelance dancer in London and was most recently performing with Candlelight Ballet Concerts across England and Scotland, and is now very excited to be joining NEBT for the 2023 season.
Genevieve Heron

Genevieve Heron

Genevieve trained at The Royal Ballet School – White Lodge and Elmhurst School for Dance.

Since then she has danced with the Birmingham Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Northern Ballet and the Royal Swedish Ballet.

She has also performed the role of Louise Bigelow in Nick Winston’s production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel and was part of the Original London Cast of Christopher Wheeldon’s An American in Paris at the Dominion Theatre and latterly in the Asia Tour and at the Théâtre du Châtelet Paris.

Genevieve was a member of the 2020, 2021 and 2022 NEBT companies which involved the lockdown film projects with Alice Pennefather, the filming of the Genesis ballets and most recently Jenna Lee’s Four Seasons, Wayne Eagling’s Remembrance and Daniela Cardim’s Nocturne pas de deux.

Alice Higginbottom

Alice Higginbottom

Alice previously trained at Elmhurst Ballet School and then with Northern Ballet on their graduate programme.

During her time at Elmhurst she worked with Birmingham Royal Ballet in their production of Romeo and Juliet and also performed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in Birmingham.

Following this, she went on to perform with Northern Ballet in David Nixon’s Nutcracker as well as touring around the country with their Children’s Ballet The Ugly Duckling. Just recently she performed with English National Ballet in Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella in the round.

I’m very excited to be joining NEBT this season as having the opportunity to work with many different choreographers is something I feel very privileged to get to experience.

Tamara Hinson

Tamara trained at the Arts Educational School, Tring Park and Elmhurst School for Dance.

She has danced professional with Birmingham Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, The Israel Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.

Her repertoire includes Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Balanchine’s Symphony in C and Serenade and Cranko’s Onegin.

She has most recently joined Birmingham Royal Ballet for their UK Swan Lake tour.

Tamara was part of NEBT’s 2022 company.

 

Casey Nokomis Pereira

Casey is from South Lake Tahoe, California. She trained at the San Francisco Ballet and is currently a freelance artist based in London. Most recently, she performed with McNicol Ballet Collective in Devotions at the Royal Opera House, Linbury Theatre (2023). Other recent highlights include performing at Latitude Festival and the Biarritz Choreographers Competition in 2022; with Viviana Durante Company at the Dance Inversion Festival
in Moscow, presented by the Bolshoi Theatre in 2021; and in Johan Kobborg’s Romeo & Juliet in Arena di Verona and the Royal Albert Hall in 2019 & 2021.

Casey has been a member of ballet companies in the United States and the United Kingdom including Viviana Durante Company, McNicol Ballet Collective, Ballet San Jose under the leadership of José Manuel Carreño; The Minnesota Ballet; Vienna Festival Ballet; and Sergei Polunin Ink.

Her repertoire includes Isadora Duncan’s Dance of the Furies; Joy Alpuerto Ritter’s UNDA; Johan
Kobborg’s Romeo & Juliet; Andrew McNicol’s Of Silence; Kenneth MacMillan’s Seven Deadly Sins; Ross Freddie Ray’s Little Red and The Wolf; Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16; Alicia Alonso’s Giselle;
Roland Petit’s Carmen; George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations, Serenade, Western Symphony, and Who Cares?; and Helgi Tomasson’s Ballet d’Isoline.

Casey also holds a degree in Sociology and works as a freelance Social Media Manager and Content Creator for various dance organisations.

NoahNoah Benzie-Drayton Benzie-Drayton

Noah trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School and the European School of Ballet.

He has previously danced with the Paris Opera Ballet and the English National Ballet.

Eric Caterer CaveEric Caterer Cave

Eric trained at Central School of Ballet.

Before joining NEBT, he danced with – among others – Ballet Central, Circa Australian Contemporary Circus Company, Moravske Divadlo Ballet Company, Oliveira & Bachtler Circus and Contemporary Dance Company and Kamea Dance Company. After his time as part of  NEBT’s 2022 company he danced with Cape Town City Ballet for a season.

His roles include Dame of the Camellias, Othello, Swan Lake, Taming of the Shrew, Paquita, Nichts (chor. Marco Goecke) and Peeled (chor. Itzik Galili).

Daniel CorthornDan Corthorn

Dan trained at The Royal Ballet School and Laine Theatre Arts.

Whilst in training was awarded the Phyllis Bedells Bursary (2013) and Solo Seal (2016) from The Royal Academy Of Dance.

Before Joining NEBT, he danced in Cats The Musical at Dubai Opera House, with Michael Clark Company for their Australian and European tour of to a simple, rock ‘n’ roll . . . song, which was also filmed for BBC4, and performed in ABBA VOYAGE as a dancer.

Daniel was lucky enough in 2019 to choreograph and perform at London Fashion Week for Malan Breton’s Fashion Show.

He also has his own DanceWear brand ‘DANSWEAR’ to offer more of a variety of DanceWear to male dancers.

Daniel has been with NEBT for their 2019, 2021 and 2022 seasons and was part of the creation process for Genesis. He is delighted to be joining for our 2023 season. 

Mischa Goodman

Mischa Goodman

Mischa trained at the Royal Ballet School and the Nationale Ballet Academie, Amsterdam.

Since then, he has danced with Finnish National Ballet and English National Ballet and was part of NEBT’s 2022 company.

His roles include Nutcracker, Snow Queen, La Bayadere, Jekyll & Hyde, Raymonda (chor. Tamara Rojo) and Playlist (chor. William Forsythe).

George Leatherby

George Leatherby

George Leatherby started full time vocational training at The Royal Ballet School at 15 before transferring to English National Ballet School at 16 for a further 3 years.

During this time he performed in works by choreographers such as Andrew McNicol, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Robert Binet. After training he went on to perform with The Northern Ballet Company in Leeds and toured David Nixon’s The Little Mermaid, Nutcracker and The Great Gatsby before joining English National Ballet Company in 2023 to perform in Christopher Wheeldon’s  Cinderella in the Round.

He delighted to be joining NEBT where the opportunity to work closely with different choreographers and dancers to create exciting new and inspirational pieces will hopefully
stimulate and captivate.

Alexander Nuttall

Alexander Nuttall (guest)

Alexander joined Estonian National Ballet in 2012 under the directorship of Thomas Edur and Agnes Oaks, where he danced roles in all the major repertoire and toured extensively. Returning to London to freelance, he has worked with New English Ballet Theatre, Project Polunin at Sadler’s Wells, English National Opera and Tivoli Ballet Theatre in Copenhagen amongst others.

In recent years, he has worked with Birmingham Royal Ballet on their productions of Carlos Acosta’s Don Quixote, and Sir Peter Wright’s Nutcracker and Swan Lake. He has also worked extensively with English National Ballet, on their productions of Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella at The Royal Albert Hall in both 2019 and 2023, in Tamara Rojo’s Raymonda, and in numerous Coliseum seasons of Wayne Eagling’s Nutcracker, dancing many roles including Mouse King.

Nicholas Vavrečka

Nicholas Vavrečka

Nicholas trained at the Young Dancers Academy under Anna du Boisson and later Elmhurst Ballet School. As a student, he danced with Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Since then, he has worked with Compagnie Mauduit Toulouse, Scottish Ballet and English National Ballet.

His repertoire includes Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Mayerling, Helen Pickett’s The Crucible and Wheeldon’s Cinderella.
